I saw Yagudin live for the 1st time. I was impressed. Now I'm absolutely sure he's the only real Plushenko's rival. All the other skaters are not at their level. You have to born with this style/class/etc.. It's inside you. You can't learn it. I saw live also Chan and Takahashi. I appreciate some Chan's qualities, I like Takahashi, but there is an abyss. Plush and Yag are two sacred monster of skating. Then there is the rest of the world. You see Yag or Plush and you say: this is an Olympique gold medal !! I can't accept a skater like Lysacek could win a gold!! Of course for me Plush is able to give more emotions. He's the only one. Yag's is not so expressive. Plush has the fire inside. In Lugano's show I think audience didn't understand anything about skating so didn't really appreciate Yagudin. But when Plush skates also this kind of audience understand; in the shows I often listen to some comments of persons near me. That's my opinion!
