My personal interpretation:
As the rumbling water of Chang Jiang flew to the east, its wave crests washed away the heroes. The right or wrong, the success or failure, at the end, they are nothing. The greenish mountains were still there, the setting sun was still as red. The white-haired fisherman and the gatherer of the fire woods, they got used to watching the autumn moon and feeling the breeze of the spring wind. They happily meet up by a pot of filthy wine, with which, they could make a joke of and laugh at the history and the current affairs.

I think this is the English translation of lyrics.
