Cekoni I m sorry I missed your previous post, it 's been a lot of information here to follow and I missed it.
This combo is legendary, Evgeni was preparing for it for the Olympic Season in Torino, if you see Euros SP 2006 by Eurosport they mentioned it, that Evgeni in Practice did 4t-3l but in actual competition he didnt launch it because he had a not perfect quad. Then in OLys his quad was shaky a little so he didnt add it, but many people were waiting he will make with it history in Olys. As I was reading the archives many years, I started to believe if he actually was doing it or were rumors. The reason this is a special combo is because of its difficulty, the loop has no foot support when doing it and it needs for that reason speed and he does it out of a quad
I copy from Golden Skates gkelly where she explains how difficult 4t-3l is and even how difficult 4t-3t-3l is:
Because it's really really difficult to control the landing of a very difficult jump like a quad with the free leg in front to set up the loop. Much easier to do so from the landing of a 3T, although still very challenging to maintain enough speed and alignment to pull of the loop, especially 3Lo as opposed to 2Lo.


Really when I saw it in the morning, I think my eyes blurred..

4T-3Lo-3Lo is not a CoP friendly combination. Under the CoP, one can only repeat 2 different jumps in LP, so it is better to do two 3As and two 3Lz, since they are of the highest value. If Plushy did 4T-3Lo-3Lo, he repeats 3Lo twice, a jump that worths less than 3Lz or 3A.

So under CoP, we probably will never see 4T-3Lo-3Lo, it is high risk and low rewards (even punishment for repeating 3Lo twice).

I know 4t-3l-3l isnt COP friendly but I suspect Evgeni was so head and shoulders above in marks back in 2006 that he wanted to make history, this is a hell of combo, nobody will ever do it for sure. I m sure he wont do it again , but finding this video was really touching, I was in awe, the majesty of it.Same for 3loops video, just wow.

He just missed out on that quad lutz! But it was a really gutsy
attempt trying to fly into the historybooks almost a decade ago
now with such a hard jump!
