Well, just when it seems things might be ok here, some bad news.

My sister is in the hospital with dehydration. Heaven knows how that happened.

I went to the eye doctor's today, and saw a specialist for the first time. We discovered that I have cataracts on both of my eyes. They're not serious yet, but will be someday. They can easily be removed but the idea of surgery scares me. But right now, he said removing them wouldn't really improve my vision, so surgery seems redundant.

I jokingly said to the doctor, "As long as I can see till March of 2014, I'll be happy! I want to see Plushenko win his second Olympic Gold since he missed it this year!"

Oh Ana .. you just have no luck - only those ranges problems

I can only comfort you that today cataract surgery has become most common routine daily operations, almost do not have any bearing to the hospital.

I hope you'll be better soon Anya, I know that cataract surgeries are easy nowadays,it doesn't take much time and within 1-2 hours you'll be able to go back to home.

Does anyone here have a Facebook? I do, and I would love to hear from any of you. It would be great to chat live...I do understand that most of us are in major time differences. I would gladly accommodate your time zone. I also am upset since they suspended Evgeni's You Tube account. I used to be on My space until Facebook came along. I keep in touch with new friends. Old school mates...not really. I haven't heard from them in a long time, and really not interested in them anymore. Different worlds now. It has been too long.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. Now I have even worse news. My mom needs surgery on he legs. It looks like she may have to lose both of them. I'm devastated.

I can not believe, what all happened to you! .... now I really have nothing smart to tell you, except that you have to hope that this is a wrong diagnosis of the doctor ...

Thank you, so much, my friend. Yes, my mom does have really bad diabetes. It runs in the family; both her parents had it too (and they died in their 60s and she's in her 60s now). My brother also has it now. Yes, I suppose the best thing is to hope that something can be done about this.

Now Zhenya's "Je Suis Malade" is even more meaningful for me.

I asked her about my sister. She's out of the hospital, she just had low potassium. She'll be okay. That's a mercy anyhow.

I'm back! I moved to a new place and I am so tired. I just now am able to get on the Internet. I was having withdrawals from not being able to log on to this site. I've missed all of you and news about Evgeni is better than ever!

Yesterday, I had a terrible nightmare, about this World Championships in Turin,I'm worried about Evgeni a lot,too much going on, (I know I'm making everything too personal)...
I have a problem with the skating groups,first groups are given the least points,sheer nonsense... and that Patrick Chan and the American skaters are going to attack phschologically again,I know it, and Brian Joubert likes doing such things They just don't have the capacity for being nice.Jealous and corrupt inside...

and I will be sleepless tomorrow again...should stop drinking coffee...
