P.S. Talking of languages: did you know that the Greek sportscaster Alexis Kostalas -who presents all figureskating competitions for the last 20 years- speaks PERFECT RUSSIAN ?! He pronounces Zhenya as :"Yevgeni Plushenka" .

Life is too short, and I intend to live it to the fullest. Be careful in that traffic. I say a prayer every time I have to drive to work. It's a bit unnerving. Take care. I am patiently awaiting new photos of Zhenya.

We have been waiting for that rain for days because our recent temperatures were 37 degrees Celsius! Nessun problema, vi ringraziamo!

OK,then: we Greeks don't want rain and clouds from our friends in Germany. We want the SUN
But they will have to find it....and it's not something you can produce ...technologically i.e. durch Technik....
Anyway, that was a general remark a little influenced by recent political news in my country, nothing personal to you Dark Star.

P.S. Where was your urlaub?

We did what most Germans do in their vacations: search for the sun. We went to Corsica. Two weeks with warm weather and no rain. Great.
If we had this weather here, I don´t think we would produce so much technic. We would be much more relaxed

I never was in Greece. I hope you don´t suffer to much from German tourists? They can be awful.

We need the rain here. We are in a drought season. Lot of clouds, but no rain. Last summer, we had three months of temperatures over 38 C. It was ridiculous! We are only 150 miles from Mexico's border, so it is HOT here.

Now we're talking about weather there was a terrible storm here last night! In June,incredible. and I know a week later i would be whining about the hot weather...never good enough..

The storm is coming this way too aysu! There's clouds over Athens today and yes it's true , we humans we are never satisfied, we always complain about something
Of course Greece is not...hot like Mexico as Doll (and Lady Gaga) says but...it can be tough!
Ah, Corsica!!! Great choice Dark Star, I am sure you had a great time! I am going to Kefallonia zu urlaub. Kefallonia is the island where the film Captain Corelli's Mandolin was shot and also Tom Hanks's favourite holiday destination. I'll give you an update when I come back.
Technology and sunlight and productivity.... This is very advanced mathematics! But we manage to work hard enough,even in times of crisis...
