But who will be invited?

Past 10 years medalists of Men: Chan, Takahashi, Hanyu, Kozuka, Gachinski, Joubert, Lysacek, Buttle, Weir, Lambiel, Plushy, Lindemann, Goebel, Honda, those 14 skaters could be invited. (But I think Goebel can't compete now, and I don't think Lindemann will be invited.)

The list is too short IMO, they should add more skaters if they want an interesting event. Only two pro skaters? . Goebel doesn't skate anymore as far as I know. And no Yagudin, this is awful!!!!

No, Hamilton's competition have name, I think: "The Ice" ... here is right name of this new competition in Japan...

Seems the interpretive comps I spoke about are official. 'Medal Winners Open' happens the day before Japan Open competition!

Then it is clear that they are going to hand the gold to Dai and let Chan be the second place . As for Plushy, no comments (he is in my heart, I do not care about these non-sense competition ).

I have no idea what "interpretation competition" means. I assume the same skaters, or almost the same will fight individually at Medal winners, and in teams at Japan Open. Great! Two days in Saitama instead of one!

As far as I remember the pros are skaters who retired no longer than 10 years ago. So no Ilia Kulik!!!!...

This description of the conditions are for Hamilton''s the competition, not for that new - "interpretation" ... but is likely to be similar

... or may be will competing "interpretative amateurs artists" - actors , "stars"... as well as in TV show "Stars on Ice"

Who knows maybe Plushy will enjoy the MWO. I realized that Yagudin retired in 2002-2003 season so maybe he's still eligible and they invite him, Plushy may feel motivated if Yagudin competes too. (please ,please )
