I do not know if you have heard of the movie August Rush, but there is a song called Moondance it is a trumpet instrumental version by Chris Botti, I think you might like it, in general the movie has a very good soundtrack.

Евгений, здравствуйте! Ваша музыкальность и артистизм необыкновенны, даже странно было бы давать какие-то советы…но не как совет, а как пищу для размышлений – вам же и в самом деле много фантазии нужно - всегда рада и не стану молчать))
Вот еще несколько предложений:
Песня “На третьем римском”, ее поет Константин Арбенин, группа Зимовье зверей. Кстати, ваша, питерская, очень приятные ребята, веселые. У них много иронического, но “На третьем римском” совершенно особенная – художественно переработанная (очень переработанная) военная тема, глубокая и философичная, притом абсолютно без лишнего пафоса… о любой войне, и даже не только… сильная вещь. а текст какой...!

музыка там тоже не подкачала, страстная.


Потом, еще, может быть, вам бы подошла музыка Александра Градского, он замечательный композитор и певец. Было бы великолепно, если бы вы выступили с ним вживую.


Из не-наших – группа Era, композиция Ameno, очень выразительная и легкая, как специально для вас. притом много раз замечала, она очень нравится молодым.

Еще обратите внимание на Венгерскую рапсодию Листа, вдруг подойдет? Динамичная.

И Grace Jones - I've Seen That Face Before / Libertango...– не новая, но приятная, чувственная, хорошо так покачивает.

А для юмористического номера отличная вещь Eric Morillo - I like to move it. Вспомните чумовой мультик Мадагаскар)) там она звучит.

С удовольствием всегда следила за вашим творчеством и надеюсь продолжать это делать и дальше! Вы плюс ко всему еще и так разносторонни…медийный человек, одно слово, и одна эта идея посоветоваться с поклонниками… большой вам удачи, и держитесь на плаву в море человеческих симпатий! ))

We all want Plushy to stay up to Sochi 2014!! Thumbs up everyone, I agree!!
But please, I would like to make small "philosophical" note. No man is a "skating machine",no man is a machine. We all have a weaker side, a time we want to be alone with ourself and noone around, a time we need to regroup and reorganize our thoughts,gather the energy required to deliver whatever is expected from us. That's reality and the burden of having to excel every single time is an athletic challenge which I imagine is hard to carry.
So, I would say : Evgeni be healthy, be strong and do what you feel in your heart to be right. After all, a really good performance comes from the heart.
What do you think guys??

I had the immense pleasure (and the luck) to meet you on April 3rd, at the Angels on ice gala at Paris Bercy! Thank you for having been there, I hope wholeheartedly that you will soon come skating in France again, so that I have again the enjoyment to see you!please come back!

After this unavoidable introduction,I return to your message.
First of all, I'm very honored to have the opportunity to subject you my ideas. I thought a lot but I have not found ideas of music which could be skated, not yet.
So, for the moment, I just suggest you an idea of costume for Swan Lake of Tchaikovsky, which I think could be a nice music for skating (it's the first music of which I thought). I hope you'll like it.

For any costume, the black is a good color because it emphasizes the elegance of your body. Especially for the pants. Red also suits you so well and maybe you could try a touch of blue, to match with your eyes...

A lot of fans suggest you to skate on Russian's musics, I think it's a really good idea, this music suits you!
"Interview with the vampire" was suggested to, I agree, you'll make a wonderful Lestat!
For your skating, I can't help because I know nothing about that...but, I love your Tribute to Nijinski ,elegance and fluidity, it's a perfect program. I prefer this kind of skating to your funny numbers, even if they are also excellent, because I think the grace suits you better

Dear Evgeni,

I would love to see you skate to some of the great Russian classical symphonies and orchestral works (Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Glazunov, Rimsky-Korsakov). There is a complexity and power in these pieces that requires an artist of your caliber to properly understand and express. You could truly communicate all of the depth and passion in your soul through such a piece. Furthermore, it would be honoring your great national culture and heritage. Even if you don't favor classical music in general, if you find the right piece to connect with, it can really boost your expressive qualities. Edvin could help you to understand and analyze the music, while a team of choreographers could help you to translate this into physical and emotional movement. L'oiseau de feu (Firebird) is a great example, but seems to be overused in the skating world. Others that come to mind are Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances and Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture and The Tempest.

I am suggesting this because I know that you can do it, and because I think it will shape you into an even more mature artist. I have witnessed with my own eyes the tremendous spirit within you. That kind of true artistry cannot be learned, only refined. It must come from within; and those who don't understand it, fear and envy it. You've only gotten better with age, which is likely due to the profound life experiences you have had in the interim (good and bad). You're at a unique point in your career where you have already accomplished everything in the amateur world, but are still physically capable of competing, and are discovering more about yourself as a professional artist. Use your time, your "second life" as it were, wisely. Focus on challenging yourself, stretching your limits, in a way that will be productive for you, no matter what the outcome. Keep pushing your own boundaries, technically and artistically, because there isn't anything that you can't achieve. You have remained an incredibly humble, down-to-earth person despite all your successes, a rare thing in this day and age. It's that attitude that makes a true champion- the desire and determination to always be better than you are, regardless of the petty comments and jealousies of those around him. You are truly special, Evgeni- you've proven that time and again- and I don't mean just as a skater, but as a person. You define your art, not the other way around, and don't ever forget it. Your dignity, presence, and fiery grace remain in our hearts, long after you have left the ice. We are all honored to share this earth with you.
